




My ah ma made tang yuan this morning for my family to eat today. Yea, theres always a time of a year where many people will be eating tang yuan but very little people know why. Im one of those people, and fortunate enough to enjoy such delicacies. Ask my mum, she told me that it was because it is "dong zi" today, which meant that winter is coming. Obviously not in bright and shiny Singapore, so my guess is that this tradition comes way back from China?
