To my dearest fren...

26th August 2005...

A day where it was the first for him.

A day he took enough courage.

A day she was told something that was inevitable.

A day his principles got the better of him.

What they did...

The guy told the girl to be strong and not to cry.

The girl did not cry and yet was sensitive to the guy's feeling.

The guy no matter how touched, could not let this relationship take place.

The both of them if anything, just became more mature and sensible adults.

Time to go...

She bidded farewell.

He assured the friendship and gave her a last hug.

She watched his back with such unwillingness.

He turned back and gave a confident smile.

On the way back...

She would sure have cried.

He put on a brave front, right until he put on his earphones.

"she will be ok?" he thought.

He suddenly felt this feeling which he know what it was but never experienced in ages.

Couldn't believe...

Tears welled up.

Hands wiped, thought that should be enough.

Reached home.

In the shower.

Couldn't hold it anymore.

Tears poured.

Right up till the time the guy is finishing this post.

What the future holds...

Nobody knows.

Hope we will be happy,

Friends should be chatty.

Theres no need to avoid,

theres no need to shun.

Life will still be the same,

we will still have fun.

From your dearest fren...

I joined as a freshie last year and this year, im the organiser!
Though the response this year wasnt as good as the previous, the bond that everyone had was certainly much better this time round. Everyone travelled as a group, ate as a group, had fun as a group. We obtained police permit this time round, 54 ppl on bikes? no prob!

Register first!!

First stop: Old airport road. From ECP we set off, reached our first stop and had satay and ou lua. This was oso the place where my Grandfather had his own little provision shop which was finally let out last year. Haa. . the shop wasnt earning anyway, just to let him have something to do . .

Second stop: National/Indoor stadium. Just passing by, bring back alot of memories while i was involved in NDP 2002. The place where i stayed so loyaly thruout the weekend for a few months. The place where we sweat, ate, slept and had unique tan under the scorching sun. The place where emotions run high after the final BIG day...

Third stop: Esplanade. Before we reach Esplanade, we had to travel below sheares bridge. My very first time coming to a place like this and i tell u, the place was soooo not like Singapore! The ambience was so romantic, couples were cuddling and fishing, the night light and light life was visable and so awe inspiring. The bridge was just above us, it was huge! Quite breath taking . . . Went to Merlion for awhile too by popular demand haha..

Reached Esplanade, also very romantic... think the whole gang of us just turn off many of the couples already there, haha! oops! The place was quite dark, our bikes were so flashy with all the neon bands and light sticks hanging. Had a long photo taking session there.

Final stop: Sempang Bedok. Our final makan destination before heading back. Had 2 kosongs, 1 Tissue prata and 1 1/2 cup of Teh peng lol. By the time we left, it was around 5am in the morning liao! Cycled back and returned the bikes.

Had to make sure every bikes were accounted for. At this time, everyone were all tired, thigh pain, leg pain, shoulder pain and BACKSIDE pain! Not to mention everyones' heavy eyelids haa... After every bike was accounted for, did a final debrief and took group photos. Applaud for the successful outcome of the event before everyone set off for home sweet home...

Have to specially thank the freshies who were so enthusiastic all the way even until after it ended. And also everyone else for participating and helping out in one way another. Ive done my part for my year in Sports comm. I hope those who are interested in joining, can continue to liven up the spirit of the committee. . . i'll definitely be supporting u guys.

Thank you Sports comm and everyone for the expereince, good or bad, its an experience i'll never forget. Zai jian le, 36th Sports Committee!!!

6th August,

After months of practice and preparations, judgement day was here. We came and we conquered! SDE, School of Design and Environment, swept 6 awards during this year's NUS Centennial Rag and Flag day '05! Never in history had we done this well. Winning the shield or not doesn't really matter at that time. Everyone were beyond exhilaration, a feeling no words can describe. Even though Science Fac won the shield, that by itself was another achievement. They have broken the record by winning the shield that was consecutively won for 7 years by Bizad!! This is an achievement shared unconditionally and mutually by all other Facs.

Though RAG has come to an end, the spirit will still stay with us and will help motivate everyone in whatever things they have to accomplish, school is starting, it'll come in handy =)

Our 5 precious:

Least cost float
Most environmental friendly float
Best float presentation
Best float design

Best float
Best Colour

Credits to everyone out there who were in anyway part of RAG and FLAG, especially the RAG designers and floaters, it was a SCHOOL effort!

Words can't explain,
this undescribable emotion.

Maybe I can,
with pictures in motion.

Surely we can,
shedding tears of glee.

We really have to thank,
the people who made that tree.

PS: okok, cold joke, abit lame, but its all good! SDE! SDE! SDE!
*will post pics as soon as i get them! Stay tuned!*

OK, few of them i took from my hp.
(For more pics, please check out Zijia's blog ;)
