Oops! long time no blog liao, caught up with school work, events and stuff.
I'll summarise everything in a few short sentences os that u guys wont be bored with my post being too wordy =P
26jan- SDE DAY 05! Personally, i tot that the event was a success! Heck the response, its the effort that counts. If people dun wan to come, theres nothing you can do. At most, u paste posters, make announcement, flyers etc. If they still dun wanna come, you cant possibly grab them rite?!
28jan- Happy Birthday Wenjie! Sorry cant be there, had to settle the Polo tees, hope u guys had fun! Yes, and im 4 days older than u -_-
29jan- BEACHY AFFAIR!! The biggest scale event SDE sports com had organised! Volleyball tournament and all beach activities at Sentosa! I felt that everyone has put in alot in making this event a success. Like before, effort counts. Response might not be overwhelming, but hey, lets see u do better =P
Kudos to Danny and his team and everyone who helped out in the event. Bygones should be bygones. Wat matters most is that everyone is happy on that day, hopefully, everyday after also.
The most important element in a team is, well, team work
*brrrrrr*. Nothing can work out perfectly if the team cant function as one. In practical, a perfect team is rare, or maybe impossible. Therefore, every honest contribution counts, every honest intention and effort counts too. Thats wat makes a team, better.
Not much of a summary huh? Guess i better continue on my SS group work. My team needs me. Just kidding!! =P

22 isnt exactly that old or young, so i guess, im still ok. Oh, Martin or Patrick, if ur reading this, 24 isnt really that old too =P Thursday was a Sporty day, went to
GYM and "
swam" with
Guanglu in the morning. Met the rest at ECP in the afternoon for a day of cycling and blading. Really got
tanned after all those activities. Went to Parkway to have dinner after leaving ECP. Honestly, i had no clue that all of them had already planned out my birthday celebration that night! Even after all the "hintings" i got from some of them, i still din noe, really felt stupid, haha but all was good afterall.
Was at Parkway's Pastamania, still abit clueless when i turned my back and saw
huifen holding a piece of cake on top of it a lit candle in her hands. Haha, okok, had to admit that the whole celebration wasnt a really BIG thing but really, its the thought that counts. And that is enough to really make my face turn red, maybe u guys cant see coz of the tan i just had on that day lol. I really love the present u guys got me too. Engraved bracelet!! Honestly, i have never felt anything like this for a very long time... thank you all for everything... =)

Ive a weird brain. I think, i think too much. U SEE! even before i can say that i think too much, i said "I think" before that..... ok lame. But really, is it really wrong for tinking too much? Is it unneccesary to be thinking about the future, about others, about yourself? Will everything be better if I dun consider things, that might happen? Which will affect myself, or the ones i cherish? Take all that and multiply by the number of People's Shoes i had put myself in. Is it necessary? Is it even worth it?
This brain of mine, gifted? Weird? or just plain active? Only time it had a long hibernation was during my days in army. Things that needed to be taken care of, were promptly dealt with. Things that shouldnt even be bothered with, i just simply bochup. And thats how i survived during the worst 2+ years of my life, no doubt i made new friends and stuff, but nothing beats wat ive experienced inside, and im not toking about normal units and vocations.
Woke up after her long sleep and now, even more active than ever. Guess she just keeps getting more hyper as i age, wat an irony. Geared into overdrive, theres no stopping her. As for me, i cant stop thinking, i cant stop putting myself into other people's shoes. Ive a virtual world existing in my head, though not entirely true, but definitely abundunt with varieties and all kinds of emotions. So the question now isn't should, but could. And the answer is couldn't. I just love wearing people's shoes. Its not some kind of fetish mind you, but its just me. I guess its nothing bad. As long as people are happy. And i will be too if they are, even at some of my expense.
Den again, if i think, and u think, then who confirm?
I guess, time will tell.
Meanwhile, i'll still be thinking and wearing people's shoes.

I guess, to each his own. Yes money isn't everything, but its still something that eveybody in the world recognises as a symbol of power, a mean of survival, or even as something so scarce and unattainable. As the world progresses, more people become more aware of the importance of money. They compete, they backstab, they do all sorts of unthinkable things, just to have more money than others. But will they be happy from doing so? Even the intention of donating to charities are wrong. Must they use Condos, Cars, Cash as prizes to attract people to donate? Have they thought about it? About what the needy recieving the donations are from people who donated not because they really wan to help, instead its because of the irresistable prizes?
Have everyone lost all sentiments? Void of sympathy and compassion? Filled only with practicality and nothing deep within the heart? Just because of a piece of printed paper? or card? or watever?
But life is practical. Money talks.

How time flies, its already
2005 before u can mouth "O-R-D" hahaha! For the benefit of those who dunno, ORD stands for Operational Ready Date, meaning that we have finish or 2 1/2 years of NS and are now ready to be deployed anytime for military purpose, or wat they expect of us anyway. Okok, its the New Year!!! Where resolutions are set, bygones be bygones and lives, start anew. There are many things to be prioritised correctly which have not been properly done the previous year. Learn from our mistakes, our flaws and from experiences and work towards a better year this year and every following one. Life is short, live life to the fullest.
Spent the last few hours of
2004 and the first few ours of
2005 with a group of my University friends! Our initial plan was to go for night cycling, but the weather wasnt on our side =( . So everyone decided to watch midnight show at Marina Square. Have to choose between "Phantom of the Opera" and "Chucky: seed of Chucky". It din make a difference which i watch, so its right to let the girls decide. The latter was choosen, and all of us set off from
Zijia's house after some of them finish bidding for their modules. All of us squeezed into Patrick's car and made our way to Marina bay for steamboat! $13 per person and free ice cream, +$2 for sugarcane juice. Ok la, i dun eat steamboat often too anyway. Ate for around 2-3hrs, squeezed into Patrick's car again and he fetched us to Dhoby Ghaut. Said Happy New Year!! to Patrick as he had to leave us to join his friends.
We den began our search for available pool tables. But to no avail =( . It was around 10pm+ and
Zhicheng met us at paradiz after he knock off from work at EXPO. Went to Esplanade where supposedly there would be fireworks but were taken off as a sign of respect to the victims of the recent Earthquake and Tsunami occurence, condolences. So there wasnt really anything to "officially" mark the start of the new year. Suddenly, everyone burst into applause and, wat do u noe? Its the NEW YEAR!!! everyone went wild, there were ppl behind playing with their own fireworks. One of them actually even used fireworks that can shoot into the air. That was actually wat everybody were waiting for. Though its banned and the explosion somewhat pathetic, it really made everybody's day =). Tried to sent New Year SMSes to everyone but dunno why cant send, network jam?
After the short celebration, went to Marina Square for our show at 12:20. Shud have listened to
Zijia when she said it was rated M18. First time i watched a M18 movie, too much gore, uninteresting and predictable plot. Cant deny that the jokes were quite funny, but the gory scences were just, disgusting. So much for Chucky, his bride, and his seed. Hahaha, ok i guess everybody was stunned, but it was all in the name of fun =P. 2am, Went to look for a nice place after the show to settle down and chill. Managed to find a spot by Boat Quay beside the Singapore River under UOB building. Woooooo, wat a breeze we had there from the river nearby. Alicia teached us how to play a very interesting game using poker cards. Abit difficult to explain here, but basically, u won't feel sleepy playing it coz u need to memorise and be alert! It'll be a very good game to be introduced for FOC'05! Yee Fang was really HIGH thru out the game. Every little while, doing abit of singing and dancing, haha wat can i say? Shes a natural!
1st Jan 2005 6am, after the game, went to a nearby food centre to have Roti prata! Something the girls have been craving for the WHOLE of end 2004 haha! Too bad we werent at the east, if not we could get a glimpse of the sunrise together...By this time, everyone were more or less tired. Made our way home after a few take cares and goodbyes. Reached home ard 830am, bathe and went to bed straight away, woke up at 3pm and had a late lunch at home. Feeling refresh, this year, im going to be a different and better person. Thank you guys for the memories, i'll cherish it and hope it'll aid me in everything i do this year.
Happy New Year everyone...
